    The Haut Languedoc Regional Nature Park is simply perfect for all lovers of nature tourism and culture in southern France.
    Located to the north-west, midway between the Atlantic and Mediterranean climates, the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park is often referred to as the "balcony" of the Mediterranean.
    Here on the last foothills of the Massif Central mountain chain, the mountain rises up before opening out onto the vineyards.

    A well preserved natural setting in southern France


    The area enjoys an ideal geographical location including lakes, gorges, valleys, peaks and villages.
    Certain animal species are protected, such as Bonelli's eagle, the otter, the mouflon, the common genet and the bat.
    Among the plant varieties, golden garlic, orchids and the sundew also enjoy protection.
