Eurostar_0712EUROSTAR are offering cheap priced tickets on their popular weekly summer service to Avignon.

The service starts on July 9 and runs until September 10, 2005 and bookings for the route, from London to the south of France, can be made from today.

The train operator is offering a special return fare of £99 - available on more than 10% of the Avignon seats.

Once these are sold the standard class fare will be from £109 return.

The direct services operate weekly during the summer when there is particularly high demand.

Avignon Centre Station is around two minutes’ walk from the centre of the city and with a journey time of approximately six hours, you can be there by mid-afternoon.

The timetable for the service (all local times) is:

Outbound
Waterloo 07:09
Ashford 08:02
Avignon Centre 14:21

Inbound
Avignon Centre 16:30
Ashford 20:35
Waterloo 21:30
